The way we talk

Father Lord, I thank you that my prayer for my husband to speak with care, love & in a Godly, is a prayer of thanks for he is guarded with his words. Lord I thank you too that he knows how he could be even more pleasing to you and so seeks your guidance.
Please Lord help me though for I am terrible with my speech, help me Lord to choose words that build up but not tear down.
Amen.

Walking with you Lord

Lord, I thank you that my husband walks with you. I pray that his reflections would deepen his relationship with you and that any sin would revealed to him so as to walk rightly with you, through the precious blood of your son Jesus Christ.
Amen.

How he feels

Lord God, please help my husband with the feelings that you know he struggles with. Help me Lord to know how to help & how not to make it worse.
Lord, please protect us from the worries that you have not governed for us.
Amen.

Our Marriage

Heavenly Father, I pray for your protection on mine and my husband's marriage. Help us to make time for each other and to not take each other for granted. Protect us from anything that would be negatively distracting from each other and encourage us always to talk about our concerns or worries.
Amen.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 (New International Version, ©2010)

9 Two are better than one,
because they have a good return for their labor:
10 If either of them falls down,
one can help the other up.
But pity anyone who falls
and has no one to help them up.

His focus

Father God, Thank you for the loving partner you've given me in my husband, and thank you that I can see how my praying for him every day has brought us closer. You really are amazing!
Lord, I thank you for all the prayers that I can say to you through the precious blood of your son Jesus Christ. I ask Lord that you would be my husbands lens and focus through which he sees the world and through which he makes his decisions.
Amen.

Philippians 4:6-7 (New International Version, ©2010)

6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
